What is the show format?

The podcast is an edited conversation, designed to guide AEC Principals toward building stronger brands, implementing effective communications, and developing winning strategies and proposals. We'll discuss your specialties and experiences, practical strategies, and new marketing techniques. We encourage you to listen to a few episodes to get a better sense of the show. All of our podcasts can be found here. You can listen there or on the player of your choice.

Is it live?

No, our interviews are recorded and professionally edited to make sure the final product is polished.

How long are the shows?

We aim at being about 30 minutes long, but some shows can last as much 45 minutes.

Do I have to be in person?

No. We record the show over Zoom. All you need is a computer (not a phone) and strong reliable WiFi. If you have an external microphone or headset, even better.

What should I do when recording?

• Find a quiet location free from distractions and noises. Avoid the corner of any room or areas with uncontrollable interruptions or noises.

• Turn off or mute any programs or devices with sound notifications: cell phone, email

• Record test clip to make sure microphone is working and listen for unwanted noises

• Avoid excessive movement - rocking in chairs, rustling papers, clicking pens, etc., or hair/clothing brushing against the mic.

When do you record the podcast?

We'll decide on a mutually agreeable time for both of us.

Can I review the recording before it is released?

Unfortunately, no. Please do your due diligence prior to recording our episode to ensure that you are not unintentionally publicizing any information that violates your organization's privacy or public relations policies.

Will I get paid to be a guest on the show?

We do not pay our guests.
